5 Days Straight

I realize that most people in the world work five days straight, and that not too long ago I was working six days straight every week. But that was different. That before I was working 12-15 hour days for each one of those five days and before I was doing so under the sweltering radiance of 125° F heat lamps that suck the energy out of every living thing around them.

That was also before I knew what it was like to get up at 3:00 AM to get to work by 4:30.

This is day two. I open tomorrow and then I have to go to a class (work-related) Thursday and close on Friday.

We are not amused.
